A bargain hunter has shared how you can get tons of free stuff – including money off your groceries and free trips to the movies.
Holly Smith, also known as Coupon Queen, returns to This Morning ITV on Monday, June 20, where she shares a hack that could save the family a lot of money. The founder of Facebook’s biggest money-saving group joins presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in the studio to share all the free hosts you can take advantage of.
Smith shares with viewers his selection of the best apps and coupons that can help shoppers pick up items at no cost, including children’s and beauty products.
Because we know how important it is for families to save money these days, we’ve selected the top five deals that we think deserve a mention. From earning money on your groceries to free visits to the movies, here are the top five deals from The Coupon Queen this week.
Use the app to earn money
Coupon Queen shares how using apps like Shopmium, CheckoutSmart, Green Jinn and Clicksnap can help you get £30 worth of groceries for free.
To get free stuff he said: “You download the app on your phone, then you select the supermarket where you are going to shop and it will bring up a list of all the discounts and things you can get for free.
You then go to the store, buy the item you want – when you get home you take a picture of your receipt to prove you bought the item, and then you get the discount to your bank account.
This week’s top deals include items like the Aqua Libra Sparkling Water multi-pack and they’re updated weekly.
How to get a free cinema trip
And using apps to monetize your groceries isn’t the only freebie he’s sharing, as bargain hunters share how families can go to the movies for free.
He said: “If you want to go to the movies for free, there is a company called take a look. They give you free preview tickets to see the latest films before they are actually released to the public.”
The company works with all cinemas across the UK and film lovers can visit their website using the code ‘Cinema’ to register. Once you register, the company will notify you when there is a movie showing near you.
All viewers have to do is provide their feedback at the end of the film. Holly adds that moviegoers only need to write a few lines about the film and give it a rating.
Free Lego Magazines
Everyone knows that Lego is one of the most beloved franchises for kids, which is why there is good news that parents can get their hands on the free magazine in the post.
Holly explains: “Lego has a free subscription. It’s for kids between the ages of five and eleven. As a parent all you have to do is register your card on the Lego website and they’ll get a magazine in the mail every quarter, and it costs the same as the ones you buy in the supermarket which cost around £3 – £4.”
Free kids activity package
The money saver explains that parents can also get their kids a free activity pack from small dish. All parents need to do is visit the website and ask for the free plan.
Holly said: “This is in the mail and contains lots of activity sheets that teach your kids about healthy eating – which is great”.
Free Clarins beauty treatments
Everyone loves a good beauty treatment, which is why Holly shared one hack she said “not many people know”.
The bargain hunter explains how the Clarins counter can offer free express beauty treatments – but you have to order them in advance.
He said: “You should go to Clarins . website, choose the location you want to go to, there are ten treatments to choose from, including mini-facials and hand massages. Every maintenance is 100% free, no need to buy”.
When we checked their website, there were express treatments available in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
